Summary

It would be helpful to fall back to an external package database for when aurweb rpc is unavailable - the current unavailability of AUR services has made it quite time consuming to a) find what packages require updates b) confirm package updates have taken place. While this does not solve downtime, it would provide another avenue for AUR contributors to get the current package list when needed.

Pushing the scheduled packages-meta-ext-v1.json / packages.json (generated by https://gitlab.archlinux.org/archlinux/aurweb/-/blob/master/aurweb/scripts/mkpkglists.py?ref_type=heads) to github.com/archlinux/aur 'main' as a potential home
