Increased sdb write latency on gemini makes it very sluggish
/dev/sdb
occasionally has increased write latency (upwards of 2 seconds). This has occurred two times so far:
On 28th of November 2022:
On 5th of March 2023:
During both times, Extended offline
was running in the background on that disk. This behavior has not been observed on the other three disks.
The above results in extended performance degradation which manifests even in nginx being unable to respond to HTTP(s) requests.
