Xorg-server high CPU usage by moving mouse

Description:

Since yesterday's updates moving the mouse around takes a lot of cpu ressources by /usr/lib/xorg -nolisten tcp :0 vt1 (around ~ 80 - 90%) in htop and the cpu temperatures rises that goes with it.

Additional info:

I have this on two machines (desktop & laptop). After the update it messed up my conkys and I had to change the values of the placement to get them again at the same position as before and at the right size.

  • package version(s):

xorg-server 21.1.13-1 conky 1.20.2-1

This is the package updated yesterday (that could be the culprit) :

upgraded libtool (2.4.7+83+g7b091831-1 -> 2.5.0+1+g38c166c8-1)

  • config and/or log files:

I don't see any error in logs

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Let the machines without doing anything = normal xorg activity and cpu temperatures.
  2. Move the mouse around = excess of xorg activity + rising cpu temperatures.

Let me know if you need more info.

Edit : On both machines I have logitech unify mouses.

Thank you.
