Description: Consider removing gnu-netcat from repo.
Rationale: This has not seen a new release since 2004. [a] The project is also unsupported and the maintainers are unresponsive since at least 2012. [b] Upstream's Subversion repo only continued to receive (a few) patches until 2013. [c]
Arch repo carries the actively maintained alternative:
- extra/openbsd-netcat (last upstream release: Jun 10, 2023)
Both that and this package defines the virtual provides 'netcat'.
Nothing depends specifically on gnu-netcat.
No disruption expected by deleting it from repo.
