Kodi segfaults upon start-up

Kodi segfaults upon startup under certain circumstances.

I am unsure if Arch bug tracker accounts are freely open (they were not a month or so ago) so am therefore opening this issue based on this report in the kodi forum. The issue is not affecting me on my hardware. The user who reported is clearly running Arch based on the kodi.log. Please look into providing a back-port to our package based on the links I provided.
