kdesu not found in /usr/lib/kf5

Description:

Krusader has a feature called root mode located in the tools tab. Trying to open it after the recent update to plasma 6 will return an error stating Cannot start root mode Krusader, /usr/lib/kf5/kdesu not found or not executable. Please verify that kde-cli-tools are installed.

pacman -F kdesu returns that kde-cli-tools places kdesu in /usr/lib/kf6/kdesu. Making a symlink of kdesu from kf6 to kf5 fixes the issue.

Additional info:

  • package version(s): 2.8.0-3

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open kursader
  2. Click on tools
  3. Click start root mode krusader and then continue
