Group of users with Cisco AnyConnect blocked from using VPN https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=290520

Keep in mind wide user-base to be affected due to number of archlinux derivative distributions.

Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client fails to build VPN connection since mid of week no. 48.

Before point of time mentioned it worked very well, for months.

Test environment

Manjaro Stable - archlinux derivative

Cisco AC SMC App 4.10.06079, only this version provided by remote network administrator

Rate of reproducibility: 100%

Only one VPN connection set up and in use

VPN connection configured with MFA

Steps to reproduce:

Start Cisco AC SMC

Click Connect.. to build up VPN connection

Problem

AC SMC completes shortly yet before credential query window (MFA) opens

Error message reads Connection attempt failed
