mercurial 6.6.1-2 /usr/bin/hg is broken - no longer runs

mercurial vers 6.6.1-2 has un-runnable /usr/bin/hg:

 head -1 /usr/bin/hg
#!python

Typo it looks like - obviously it should be:

#!/usr/bin/python

Error is:

$ /usr/bin/hg
bash: /usr/bin/hg: cannot execute: required file not found
