Screen staying black

Description:

I'm using a Radeon R9-290X. When upgrading to Mesa 1.25.0.1-1, after reboot, the screen stays dark and I can't see it in DMESG. The only trace of the GPU is :

[drm:radeon_get_bios [radeon]] *ERROR* ACPI VFCT table present but broken (too short #2)

I went back to 1.24.3.4-1 for the time beeing and the GPU is working again.
