Feature request: re-enable --shared

Description:

Commit 26a5d00e disabled building of the shared libnode.so library. It would be useful to have the library built, because it's needed for the r-v8 AUR package that dynamically links to libnode.so.

Both Fedora and Debian enable --shared.
