System freezes since 550
Description:
With the 550 driver linux users face random kernel crashes.
If I look for new drivers at https://www.nvidia.com/de-de/drivers/ nvidia also silently replaced the 550.78
from 2024 April 25
with the 535.179
from 2024 Mai 9
on their homepage in the recommended/certificated
tab.
I think we should downgrade to this driver version.
(I doubt you want to move to the beta 555.42.02
driver)
Additional info:
- package version(s): 550.78-5
