need add xcb-imdkit ad depends to support input method

Description:

rofi ready support input method by using xcb-imdkit, but current build dones not include this package.

If build through https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/rofi-git , the input method works

Thanks, but AFAICT this is not applicable to the current repo version (1.7.5). The xcb-imdkit support was introduced later. In other words, it will be there in the next upstream release?

Uh, yeah good catch! I missed that somehow when reviewing !1 (closed). We would indeed either need to wait for a new release (if that ever happens... last release is from 2022) or backport those changes (which I would personally like to avoid).

@zerox Would be nice if you could check/ask if upstream intends to make a new release soonish, otherwise I don't think it makes much sense keeping this issue opened for so long as it's not something we can do anything about on the packaging side.

Optional dependency on xcb-imdkit for input method support added in the v1.7.6-1 rofi package (currently in [extra-testing]).

To those who wants to enable input method feature:

1. Install xcb-imdkit
2. Rebuild rofi package

If xcb-imdkit isn't installed when building, rofi will not enable this feature.

I got confused by upstream documentation that refers to xcb-imdkit as an optional dependency but it indeed needs to be present at build and runtime, you're right.

Fixed in rofi 1.7.6-4
