Translation files are missing

Description:

Translation files for wesnoth are missing, causing the game to be in English regardless of the language option.

  • link to upstream bug report, if any: N/A, the upstream Flatpak version is working fine.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Launch the game
  2. Choose a non-English language at the right-bottom corner
  3. The UI is still in English

Notes

In the Flatpak version, the translation files are at /var/lib/flatpak/app/org.wesnoth.Wesnoth/x86_64/master/<hash>/files/share/wesnoth/translations/. If I copy that to /usr/share/wesnoth/translations/, the translations would work fine.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
