The use of sphinx-argparse has been dead in the water for a long time and only last year has seen some reviving. Another project ([sphinx-argparse-cli](https://github.com/tox-dev/sphinx-argparse-cli)) has taken its place and has seen far more active development in recent years. It should probably be used instead to generate man pages for CLI scripts.
