Arch Linux has not changed sysctl configurations AFAIK, why severity of this matter (TCP keepalive time) is so intense that Arch should break the rule?
I support this - 120 seems quite reasonable. I would guess this would fall well below typical appliance/firewall timeouts.
Aside: I saw an aws VPC post [1] proposing 45 secs with tcp_keepalive_intvl = 45 as well.
