Shouldn't it be cksums in the proto files then?
Yeah, that should work.
In packaging pacman for Debian, I was asked by the developer sponsoring my package to send this patch changing 'allows to' to 'allows one to' in pacman.8.asciidoc, because Lintian (Debian package linter) complains about it.

MD5 isn't a very good checksum, and the PKGBUILD page on the Arch Wiki states that it should not be used, instead recommending sha256 or b2. This MR changes the default from md5 to sha256 because that seems to be the most commonly used checksum today.

I'm trying to boot to an archiso on an NTFS partition. Since ntfs-3g is not in the initramfs, I have to manually mount it with -t ntfs3
.
I tried specifying this with rootfstype=ntfs3
, but this didn't work, since it's not a rootfs in the traditional sense.
I looked through different boot parameters archiso supports, but I didn't find any that fit what I'm trying to do.
I just want a parameter like archisofs
that specifies the filesystem of the device being mounted.
