Not exactly, now you have 4 commits :) Try a interactive rebase like: git rebase -i <first commit>^ in this case: git rebase -i f94b8aa28e1803af8701a363e09e8a9fdb4e8c41^ and squash the whole thing.

Closing this, I'm messing it up even more

i just needed to force push with git push -f
