Revert "gitlab: Increase maximum request size to 8k"

The bigger request size is not needed anymore as upstream has now enabled fragment parsing, which makes the compressed data not being sent to the server in the first place. We also save ourselves from a lot of user data that we don't even want to have.

This reverts commit a511b9c8.
