Using mkinitcpio -p or -P silently ignores other arguments passed
Currently if one uses a preset (-p or -P) any other argument passed into mkinitcpio
are ignored. Non-working (or non-sensual if you will) options should result in a hard error. For example:
mkinitcpio -p linux -k /boot/vmlinuz-linux -g /tmp/bar
The preset already already sets both -k
and -g
, the above should result in an error.
While in the area, it would be great to check and ensure meaningful arguments (-r, -s, -t, -d) are properly honoured alongside -p
.
