Description:
The original owner of the repo https://github.com/saber-nyan/kernel-modules-hook has been inactive for a pretty long period of time, so does the process of prs and issues.
There are some clearly better implementation of the same idea available at https://github.com/saber-nyan/kernel-modules-hook/pull/20 which uses hard link instead of ssd-consuming rsync, bind mount and systemd.tmpfiles instead of an additional service and timer unit.
Is there any possibility that the better implementation gets merged into this community package, replacing the old and suboptimal kernel-modules-hook.
Also, moving the development to archlinux gitlab is preferable so that users have a way to make merge requests and help improve the package.
Additional info:
- package version(s) kernel-modules-hook 0.1.7-2
