gedit is unable to install gtksourceview "style-schemes"

Description:

Gedit fails to install gtksourceview style schemes with a generic "The color scheme is not installed" error. It's very likely that this problem that only exists because I packaged a development release of tepl and libgedit-gtksourceview and this requires now the new "gtksourceview5" format. The state of this support is however unknown, since it's a development snapshot. So a downgrade / epoch-bump might be needed for libgedit-gtksourceview and tepl.

Additional info:

  • package version(s):

    • gedit 46.2-3
    • libgedit-gtksourceview 299.1.0-1
    • tepl 1:6.9.0-1
  • config and/or log files: (gedit:26945): libgedit-gtksourceview-WARNING **: 12:23:27.121: Failed to load style scheme file '/home/<user>/.local/share/gedit/styles/sweet-dark.xml': Fehler in Zeile 29, Zeichen 1: element 'style-scheme' requires attribute 'kind'
