[6.9.1-arch1-1] Failing to capture wifi access points in monitor mode

Description:

When using airodump-ng to scan and capture for nearby wifi networks on version 6.9 and above the program is unable to capture anything and the result is just blank. However running the same program on previous versions, such as 6.8.9 works fine. This applies for both linux and linux-zen(I have not checked this in other versions).

Additional info:

  • Aircrack-ng(1.7), linux(>=6.9.0), linux-zen(>=6.9.0)
  • config and/or log files:
  • output of journalctl
  • output.txt

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Switch to monitor mode using airmon-ng start wlan0 (optional)
  2. Start capturing using airodump-ng wlan0 Expected to show access points, but does not show anything in 6.9.1
