We're now on 14.2.0 after 39f1920f so this should be fixed. Please ping if not.

This is causing very non-insignificant problems.

Note that mingw-w64 12 changes the default to ucrt. So I more or less acidentally enabled it for my PKGBUILDs and repo by simply updating the mingw...

Thanks for reporting. But yeah, you'd really need to verify if this is even feasible before making a feature request like this. FWIW, Fedora are us...

Yes, ucrt should definitely be a separate package (similar to MSYS2 does it). I see multiple ways to move this forward:...

I'm not sure if the specific frontend supports Windows yet, I haven't tried. msys2 doesn't seem to have it either.

I don't use UCRT and would heavily prefer if this were implemented, to be split to a separate package.
