Renable LTO, update to 1.2.0, and disable cover

Hurricane Pootis requested to merge hurricanepootis/ncspot:lto into main

This merge request does three things:

  1. Re-enables LTO by doing `export CFLAGS="$CFLAGS -ffat-lto-objects"
  2. Updates to 1.2.0
  3. Disables the "covers" feature due to a bug that has not yet been fixed upstream
