No response. And no evidence of a packaging issue. If still happening, please try the support channels (Forum, etc) to see if anyone can help debug...
There have been no other reports about this.. so have you figured out what is wrong with your fonts setup yet?
That link is broken - the text is fine but you added explicit markdown linking it to url
. In the GitHub issue the link back here is similarly broke...
I made a bug report on telegram github, too: https://github.com/telegramdesktop/tdesktop/issues/28882
Although both telegram and ttf-opensans just got an update, the problem still exists....
Hmm, there are no other reports about this which suggests something specific to your system....
Pango 1.56.1 update rolled out that should fix the issue discussed there!...
Thank you, great find! Unless 1.57.0 is going to be released soon, we should consider cherry-picking that commit before we move pango to the stable...
This is great, so pango 1.57.0 fixed the issue, anyway, from there it's just about waiting for upstream stuff, I still think making a PR to fontcon...
Looks like a fix appeared in Pango upstream: Deal with FC_FONT_WRAPPER more graciously (fbb7f404)
I've already files this: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/fontconfig/fontconfig/-/issues/444
