Description:
Over the past two months myself and others have helped a developer from Pulseaudio narrow down and debug an issue with Pulseaudio 16.1. He has now produced a patch which is merged into upstream pulseaudio/master.
However it will only hit downstream distributions only once Pulseaudio 17 is launched (which is further down the roadmap, with some tasks still pending).
This is an issue with the resampling rate reporting not working correctly with USB UAC-2 devices.
The issue affects all USB-2 audio cards and would be amazing to backport this into Pulseaudio 16.1 stable used by Arch.

I've already built and use a patched version of Pulse but would like to be able to merge these patches into extra/pulseaudio.
Please let me know the best way to proceed with this.
I have attached the patch resulting from git format-patch
.
