missing dependency on `python-async-timeout`
Description:
Importing asyncpg via pkg_resources
fails due to upstream dependency pinning.
This pinning should be removed in the PKGBUILD, as previously done for other packages such as tensorflow and python-aiohttp.
pkg_resources.DistributionNotFound: The 'async-timeout>=4.0.3; python_version < "3.12.0"' distribution was not found and is required by asyncpg
On a side note: Maybe we should think about removing all pinned dependencies from all python packages, as they literally don't yield any benefit and regularly cause issues. This should maybe also be included in the Python Packaging Guidelines. What would be a good place to propose this?
EDIT: Oops, I was wrong. The issue is actually a missing dependency on python-async-timeout
.
