pkgrel is invalid according to PKGBUILD docs
Description:
According to PKGBUILD(5), a pkgrel
version may only specify a positive integer after the period. At the time of writing, the current python-celery
version is 5.3.6-1.0
, which has a pkgrel
of 1.0
. Afaict this does not conform to the PKGBUILD manpage, but does NOT appear to result in any issues.
I only stumbled upon this, due to my own package resolver apparently being stricter in parsing versions than pacman is. I'd be more than happy with a documentation change in the manpage, but I'm filing this bug here, because it is the first and only time I got bitten by it.
