Make xorg-server optional

Description:

sddm is the only package that is pulling in xorg-server on my system. With sddm 0.20, running with a Wayland compositor is no problem. It would be nice to mark xorg-server as an optional dependency, or have a virtual dependency for either xorg-server or weston (or another wayland compositor, if that's not too complex).

I am not sure if pacman has functionality to provide a different config file to make things work out of the box based on which greeter you use.

But according to the Wiki page it "still runs in X11 mode by default". The defaults cannot be optional IMHO. In other words, this seems premature.

Yes indeed, the default would have to be changed via the config file that arch installs, possibly based on which virtual dependency the user has installed. Or Arch could decide that Wayland is the future (it is) and make SDDM run on Weston by default.

I suppose SDDM could also be modified to have logic to pick a Wayland greeter if xorg-server is not there. I don’t know what GDM does but I can take a look.

Not only it runs in X11 by default, but the Wayland greeter is explicitly marked as experimental in the current release. So this is indeed premature.
