should texlive-bin depend on texlive-basic?
Description:
The latex compilers pdflatex, lualatex, xelatex, etc are broken without texlive-basic. I don't know if people install texlive-bin to get the other script provided by the package, but I suspect most just want a latex compiler.
Additional info:
- package version(s): 2023.66984-17
- config and/or log files: N/A
- link to upstream bug report, if any: N/A
Steps to reproduce:
podman run --rm -ti archlinux:latest bash -c 'cd /tmp && echo "\documentclass{article}\begin{document}x\end{document}" > test.tex && pacman -Syu --noconfirm texlive-bin && pdflatex test.tex && ls -la'
Output:
