Description: As of upstream commit https://git.xfce.org/xfce/tumbler/commit/?id=4a5191bb18d7d3ee3c39ac0a95da2f43e1e14b2d, the gstreamer plugin now supports audio cover thumbnails for a number of different music file formats. The current PKGBUILD file disables the gstreamer-thumbnailer at compile time rendering this functionality no-operative.
If you install the tumbler-git package from the AUR (where the gstreamer-thumbnailer is not disabled), audio cover thumbnails are generated.
Additional info:
- tumbler 0.2.4-1
Steps to reproduce:
- With tumbler installed, open thunar to view a music file. Note that a thumbnail is not generated.
- Install tumbler-git from the AUR and (upon restarting both the tumbler process and thunar - or log out and back in again) the thumbnail is generated.
