There are many other wiki maintainers. We should "onboard" either all or none of them, so I don't see the point of this single issue.
+1, I changed the issue to reflect that. I'm opened this issue, because if forums mods are staff why aren't wiki maintainers? They are kinda doing the same thing.
The wiki administrators have decided that they want wiki maintainers to become proper staff members and are ready™ to work on this.
Before we can proceed with onboarding, we need to create the "Wiki Maintainers" group in Keycloak as mentioned above. Then we need to start contacting all maintainers to inform them about the onboarding and what they need to do.
I've sent an informative email to all maintainers (except one which does not have "Allow other users to email me" checked in the wiki preferences) and asked them to create an onboarding issue each for themselves. Then they should send me a link to the ticket in a reply to the email, so we can verify that the issue was created from an account owned by the maintainer.
I did not realize that I can't see confidential tickets in the repo myself, so I'll just link here tickets that I got in the replies. @klausenbusk, let me know if that's not enough...
So the wiki maintainers in the list have been onboarded and the MR (!526 (merged)) merged. I haven't got a confirmation from all of them, that the access is working, yet tho.
I'm closing the issue as keeping as all interested wiki maintainers have been onboarded (AFAIK). If any remaining wiki maintainers want to get onboarded, they should just open a new onboarding issue.
